Perk performance

Judge how well a perk performs across the Paylode platform before you put it in front of your customers.

Every offer in the marketplace carries a performance panel: how the perk is doing across all clients on Paylode, over the last 7, 30, and 90 days. It's there to answer the question you actually have while browsing — "is this perk worth a spot on my page?" — with evidence instead of guesswork.

The figures are platform-wide, so a perk that's new to you still shows a track record. And they're always populated: a perk that had a quiet week doesn't go blank or flatline to a misleading zero.

What the panel shows

For each time window (7, 30, and 90 days) you'll see four figures:

  • Popularity rank — where the perk stands by clicks, across the whole catalog. 1 is the most-clicked perk on the platform; higher numbers mean less traffic. Ranks are unique, so you can compare any two perks directly.
  • Engagement rank — the same idea, ranked by conversions. A perk can be mid-pack on clicks but near the top on engagement — that's a perk that converts the visitors it gets.
  • Estimated conversion rate — the share of clicks that lead to a conversion, as a percentage. This is a statistical estimate, not a raw division: it's what keeps one lucky click from showing as "100%" and keeps a quiet week from showing a meaningless "0.00". The more traffic a perk has, the closer the estimate sits to the plain click-to-conversion share.
  • Average payout — the average amount earned per conversion on this perk, in USD, across the platform. This one only appears when there are enough confirmed payouts to make the average reliable; when there aren't, the app says Not enough data instead of showing a made-up number.

How to read it

  • Lead with conversion rate and engagement. A high estimated conversion rate on real traffic is the strongest signal a perk resonates. Popularity tells you a perk gets attention; engagement and conversion rate tell you it drives results.
  • Compare windows to spot direction. A perk whose 7-day figures beat its 90-day figures is trending up; the reverse can mean an offer is going stale.
  • Trust high-traffic figures more. A 5% on thousands of clicks is firmer evidence than a 5% on a handful. Treat low-traffic figures as orientation, not a guarantee.
  • Not enough data isn't a zero. It means there isn't enough confirmed payout history yet to state an average. Your own earnings for the perk are shown separately on the perk itself, and what you actually earn is always in Analytics & Reporting.

The figures refresh on a schedule — they can lag live activity by several hours, the same way conversion reporting does.

note

Platform averages, your results. The panel describes how the perk performs across all Paylode clients — your audience can do better or worse. Use it to shortlist; use your own reporting to decide what stays.

  • Perks Marketplace — the catalog this panel lives in.
  • Conversion — the event behind the conversion rate and payout figures.
  • Choose and rank perks — putting the perks you've picked in front of customers, including sorting a page by these same metrics automatically.
