Reset your password
Get back into your account on your own when you've forgotten your password — no support ticket needed.
If you can't sign in, you can reset your password yourself. You ask Paylode to email you a reset link, open it, and choose a new password. The link is single-use and expires one hour after it's sent, so use it promptly and request a fresh one if it lapses.
This is the flow to use when you're locked out. If you're already signed in and just want to rotate your password, do that from your profile instead.
Reset your password
- Request a reset. On the sign-in screen, choose the "forgot password" option and enter your account email.
- Check your inbox. If that email belongs to an account, Paylode sends a message with a reset link. For your privacy, the confirmation looks the same whether or not the address is on file — so you'll never learn from this screen whether a given email has an account.
- Open the link and set a new password. The link takes you to a page where you enter a new password. It must be 8–128 characters.
- Sign in with your new password.
The reset link works once, and only for an hour. If you open it after it's expired or already used it, request a new one and start again.
Troubleshooting
No email arrived. The request succeeds whether or not the address is on the account, so a missing email usually means it isn't the address you signed up with — or the message is in spam. Check both, then try the other address you might have used.
INVALID_OR_EXPIRED_TOKEN. The link is single-use and lasts one hour. Once
you've used it or it's aged out, it won't work again — request a new reset.
