Perks center

A perks center is your branded, always-on perks page — a storefront for the deals you offer your customers, themed to look like part of your product. Where a perk collection is the raw set of perks, a perks center is the productized page around it: your colors, fonts, and logo; a title, search, category filters, and sections; and a stable web address customers can return to.

It's the difference between the perks and the place customers go to find them. You configure the center once, in the Paylode app, and it stays live.

How it works​

A perks center wraps a collection with three things: branding, layout, and a domain.

  • Branding — colors, custom fonts, a logotype, and a background image, all set in the app so the page reads as yours. See Customize your perks center.
  • Layout — which components appear and in what order: the title, a search bar, category filters, a request-an-offer form, and the perk sections themselves. A center can show up to four kinds of perk section — general perks, grouped perks, local perks, and short-term perks — each rank-ordered.
  • Domain — every center resolves at a hosted web address on a Paylode perks domain (for example your-slug.perkspulse.com). That address is what backs the hosted page and what the embed loader looks up.

Embed or hosted​

There are two ways to put a center in front of customers, and they use the same underlying page:

  • Embed — drop a small loader onto your own site and the center renders inside it, sized to fit. Best when you control the page's HTML. See Embed a perks page.
  • Hosted — send customers to the center's own Paylode-hosted address. Best when a CMS blocks scripts, or when you just want a link to share. See Use a hosted perks page.

Either way, the branding and perk selection you set in the app apply to both surfaces at once.

A perks center is managed entirely in the Paylode app — its branding, layout, perk selection, and domain. There's no client API for center management; the machinery that resolves and renders the page is used by Paylode's own embed and hosted surfaces.
